Beginning in the 1920s, the Hagenauer siblings designed independent figurines of women that were not integrated in every day use items such as mirrors or candelabras. We assume that Franz Hagenauer designed this cute dancer in the 1930s. Raising here arms during a jump, this gymnast seems to float weightlessly through the air. The curved metal band inherits her dynamic, while subtly supporting the object. This rare figure radiates pure dynamic and an untameable lust for life.
