This centerpiece was designed by Josef Hoffmann. It was executed after 1920 which can be determinated by the etched mark on the bottom: the strokes at the top and bottom of the mark "Moser Karlsbad" and "Czechoslovakia" were only used after 1920 when the K. und K. Monarchy had fallen appart. It is in a perfect condition, no chips, cracks or feabites.
According to the book "Yearning for beauty" published by the "MAK" Wien this piece was designed 1916. It shows the typical handwriting of Josef Hoffmann.
