Enamelled works were a speciality of the Wiener Werkstaette. This art form was very trendy at that time and it was very hard to execute this craftmanship. The pictures were created by melting coloured powder, after the cooling process there was no way to alter the work. The Wiener Werstaette was very lucky to have many talented enamel workers under its roof.

The brooch is in a good condition, the brass is without damage and very little wear to the sides. The enamel is a surprisingly good condition, only four of the outer white squares are very lgithly damaged.
