This brooch was designed by Bertold Loeffler, a pupil of Koloman Moser. He designed it along with other motives in the year of 1903. In the MAK (Museum fuer angewandte Kunst) exists a genuine blueprint for this motiv with the inventory number KI 12534-3.
The brooch is hallmarked with the Dianakopfpunze, the Rosenmarke, Wiener Werk Staette, a small WW and the personal mark of Bertold Loeffler.
