This ashtray was designed by the famous viennese architect Josef Hoffmann in the time around 1920. It is made of brass and is marked at the bottom with the monogram "JH" and the three lines "Wiener Werk Stätte". The simple design stand in controverse to the oval border and reflects the designstyle of a Josef Hoffmann in the year 1920.
