Bohumil Matal was born in the year 1922 in Brno and died 1988 in Prudka u Doubravniku. He was one of the most important painters of the Czech avant garde. His painting style has elements of cubism, impressionism and surrealism and all of his paintings have a very fine sense of color. Matals painting style is very expressionistic and impressive.
