Louis Comfort Tiffany
The art glass studio Louis Comfort Tiffany was the most important glass manufacturer in the time of the Art Nouveau. Director and name donor Louis Comfort Tiffany was an all-round talent on the topic of design and knowledge of material. It did not matter if it was glass, metal, ceramics, lamps or paintings, Tiffany had the right idea for everything. He furnished whole houses and was famous for his wonderful leaded glass windows and lamps. Today objects crafted in the Louis Comfort Tiffany workshops are high valued pieces of art and reach very high prices at auction houses.
