Together with the Titania and Carageen pattern, Melusin begann to play a special role in the production of Johann Loetz Witwe until 1913. Famous designers like Adolf Beckert, Josef Hoffmann and Marie Kirschner worked with this decoration.
This vase in particular has a very detailed and finely crafted silver overlay together with a deep and intense blue colour. It is worked in a high quality and in a perfect condition which makes this vase a perfect decoration.
