The shape of this vase was already documented in 1897. However, the Candia Papillon decor was not developed until 1899. Still conformist to the concept of shape of the 19th century this vase is one of the earliest objects of the art glass studio Loetz Witwe Klostermühle with an iridescent decor and is therefore a masterstroke for every collector or enthusiast.
