The year 1898 was the year of birth of the phaenomen genre decors and one of the first phaenomen decors was the one with the number 7624. The elegant waveoptic silver style and the green glasscolour gives this vase an exclusive and elegant style. The signature in the form of the two crossed arrows in the circle and the word "Austria" was only used on special pieces in the year 1898 and is therefore a rare piece.

This vase can be seen as an early example of the dynamisation of the decor with the help of diagonal movement of the decor.
