This is a pottery putto designed by Michael Powolny and executed by Sommerhuber, Austria.
Here we have a putto in a native american gown with an arrow and a quiver. Initialy this was designed in blue and white as a toping for a tilted stove but was changed due to a customers inquiry and is therefore very rare. The body rests on a voluptuous bed of bellflowers, very typical for Michael Powolny.
Untill now we have only seen this putto in the colours blue and white, never a multicoloured one. The figurine is in a very good condition, only a small and old nick at the back. It is signed "Steyr" at the bottom.
