This is a pottery putto from the manufacturer Sommerhuber in Steyr. Such figurines were very in mode in this time. The putto wears a so called "Steirerhut" and a "Lederhose", two typical austrian cloathes. He also carries a bouquet of flowers.

The craftmanship is very good. It is signed at the bottom with two manufacturers marks and the name of the town "Steyr". It has no chips, damages or cracks. The colours are beautiful and shiny.

This figurine is a perfect and magnificent example of the Viennese Art Deco and the work of Franz Sommerhuber.
